Standing at the river bend,
I ponder at what would have been,
My heart yearns for true love,
My body craves for the lust,
Walking in the world of dreams,
I dream of only you it seems,
What shall I do to reunite with you,
When can I hear 'I love you',
Putting myself in a trance,
I see visions that dance,
I cannot dream of any other man,
I only hope you understand,
What I mean when I see you again,
With you, I feel what love and trust is,
And that it is not an ideal,
It is placed upon union's holy seal,
To love one, it takes more than just one meal,
Takes looking into their soul,
To trust another, is never a task for a fool,
I have peered into your soul,
Trusting you, is a task I do,
There is never a lie nor a fight,
All is cast in a perfect light
Standing at the river bend,
I know now,
We will never end.
After feeling the pains of being single, yes there is a downfall to the single life, I was inspired to write this. Although I will never reveal whom this is about, I encourage all that feel the same pains as I feel to read this and ponder its meaning.

Amen to the pains of being single, and to those of being in a state of adoration/obsession/love/lust with someone. Especially if you're close to them and they aren't responsive. Sadness.
I think the same way, constantly, "What shall I do?"
